Humanoid Leech Description
Humanoid Leech
A massive quantity of T-virus-infected leeches that conglomerate together to form a human-like creature. In this form they are very dangerous, and can attack to cause high damage in a short amount of time. Its arms and limbs can extend to strike at targets quite some distance away, and if it can manage to grab a hold of you it will soak you with an acidic secretion. Should you attack it with a conventional weapon, parts will fall off, but if it gets close enough the leeches begin to swell up and self-explode causing damage to any characters nearby.
Strategy
Shooting at the Humanoid Leech with the handgun is a waste of time. The shotgun is a bit more effective, but it will blow the limbs off of it, causing the torso to run at you and push you into a corner, all the while swelling to an enormous size and eventually exploding, as mentioned above. If your character is hit with the explosion it will cause severe damage.

However, good news is that they are weak against fire. The best weapons are the Molotov Cocktail and the Grenade Launcher with Flame/Napalm Rounds. Sometimes an even better strategy is to try and run past them without confrontation.

Another tactic which works is hitting it with any firepower until all that is left is the torso and legs. Once it starts to swell up, move your characters to the nearest door and exit as fast as you can. When you come back your characters will not have to worry about being seriously harmed by the explosion as only the splattered remains of the creature will be evident.
