Drain Demios Description
Drain Demios
The Drain Deimos tend to crawl and climb walls, while dropping or jumping around to attack. They attack by clawing at your legs, or jumping on your back and biting on the back of your head and neck until you shake them off or go and die. :(

Most of the time they are avoidable (hey guys, this is SURVIVAL horror after all) though when you have to take them out the Shotgun, Grenade Launcher, or Magnum are all good weapons for using on them.

When facing more than one, try not to get stuck between them. Usually this means instant death as if they alternate clawing your legs your going to have problems at getting a chance to shoot at them.

Strategy
The Drain Deimos' main attack stance is a walk or run position. It's prone to doing this when there is a mid to short distance between itself and your character or when you are running nearby it. In this it climbs up onto it's back legs in which to move closer and grab you to do the brain suck. If it doesn't walk it will jump to your location. Usually this happens at long distances. Either through doing the walking attack or if it just hops up and attacks because your close by, the brain bite is the Drain Deimos' main attack. On occasions while doing this attack you will be poisoned, and while it isn't a lifethreatning attack if you constantly get cornered by one or more you could end up being killed. Apart from this they will occassionally spit at your or occasionally lay eggs in the middle of your path. As you get close to these they burst open with small parasites, really small versions of the Deimos. They will continually jump at you until you either leave or squash them.

For distant shots against the Brain Sucker, use just about any powerful weapon. Shotguns, grenade launcher, magnum etc. If it walks towards you it leaves itself open for an easy attack or if your quick enough a dodge and shoot attack. Close range attacking should be avoided at best due to the chances of the Drain Deimos jumping up and grabbing you mid shot. However if timed well you can dodge out of it's path and shoot it quickly. As with distant shooting, powerful weapons will kill the Drain Deimos in anywhere between 1-3 shots.
