| Hypnos Tyrant (Type III) | Description | |

The Tyrant of Survivor is probably one of the better Tyrants in the series according to some people (the other usually mentioned is the one in CV). It's unfortunate that it was stuck in Resident Evil Survivor instead of any other title. The Tyrant itself goes through three stages of change for each time you give it's a beating. From a human sized blue creature with small claws to a larger weirder edition with long claws (shown at the left) to a final larger form which jumps around a lot more. Each of these types mostly require different methods to beat. | |

| The third and final form of the Hypnos Tyrant is the hardest. He can occassionally block shots, he jumps around a lot, and can also pick you up and slam you onto the ground if you leave yourself open. If your low enough on health he'll even skewer you then throw you across the heliport. The best tactic is to continue your pot shot trend, but making sure you keep him off your back, and avoid his claw side as best as possible should he get close. And of course the stronger the ammo for this fight the better. The best times to shoot at him are when he charges at you or is turning around. After sinking enough ammo into him you'll defeat him. |
