| Los Ganados | Description | |

Villagers who are infected with the Las Plagas virus. "Los Ganados" means "the cattle", which is symbolic of Los Illuminados plan of taking over a population and turning them into mindless slaves.
Unlike zombies, Los Ganados can speak, run, and appear to have a mild form of intelligence. They can brandish weapons for use against their enemies, and usually attack in groups. |

| The best defense against Los Ganados is to aim for their heads. Or, if you're feeling brave, you can shoot them in the leg, which will cause them to stumble, and provide you with an opportunity to finish them off with a kick. For larger groups, the best defense is the shotgun because it provides a wider range of attack.
Occasionally, shooting a Ganado in the head will result in decapitation. During the night hours, this decapitation can result in the "Las Plagas" emerging up through the neck, and gives you an added task to take down the Ganado. Each hit from there on must be aimed at the head in order to have any effect. |
